Juicing gives your GI (or your digestive system) a time to rest and regenerate.  It is a beautiful method to rest the system in your body that often does receive a break.  Juicing allows regeneration of cells and an all around reset for your pallet, so you are naturally more attracted to cleaner foods in order to sustain healthy dietary choices post juicing.
Too Much Sugar?
Juicing is controversial at the moment.  Ask any paleo-follower… They will answer talk about how juicing is too much sugar and elicits more damage because it causes peaks and troughs of blood glucose.  Common juicing mistakes are juicing with fruits > veggies.  Your juice should be composed with mostly vegetables.  Another reason this myth has come into fad is that many juice studies were conducted using pasteurized or fruit juices rather than freshly pressed or made juices.

A recent study released to general public news reports that fasting triggers stem cell regeneration.  This particular study did not report  juice fasting does the same, and to my knowledge, it likely does.  In the moments of depletion, our body is smart.  

It begins saving energy by recycling white blood cells, therefore lowering the count of white blood cells.  An excess of white blood cells (WBC) can cause inflammatory-mediated responses.  Also the lowering of WBC count induces stem cell regeneration; A particularly cool cascade that causes the reduction of the PKA enzyme. Basically allowing the cells to become whatever the heck your body needs.  Now that is a superpower!!  We can apply this need in day-to-day lives & to chemotherapy patients.  Phase 1 clinical trials reported that fasting chemo patients undergo less oxidative stress and awful symptoms during treatment time than non-fasting chemo patients. 

With the re-upping on new, undamaged or defective cells & receiving what cells your body needs at the time, why not fast from time to time?

It is like having a rebirth into even more powerful person than you were before.

Loose Weight, And Keep It Off
